"You will wonder why you waited so long!!"

How long will my massage session last?

Each one-hour massage session includes a 60-minute hands on session, with time for personal consultation and preparation. This is very important in order to allow you and your therapist time to discuss your treatment and future treatment plans.

What if I am running late?

Arriving late will limit the amount of time for your massage and consultation, lessening its overall effectiveness and your enjoyment. In order to accommodate all of our massage therapy guests, your treatment begins and ends on its set time so that the next guest is not inconvenienced. Because your service was reserved for a specific time period the full treatment price applies.

What should I do if I have to cancel my appointment?

If you do have to cancel your appointment, please call our office within 24 hours of the scheduled service otherwise there will be a cancellation charge equal to 50% of the massage fee. The full service charge will be assessed if there is a no show or no cancellation notice is received. We appreciate your help in keeping us updated so that we may keep our appointments on schedule.

Is it customary to tip my massage therapist?

While any gratuity should always be at the discretion of the client, tipping is customary and welcomed by your massage therapist. The typical tip is 18-20% of the total charge for the particular service provided by the therapist.

What should I do after the massage?

It is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water before and after your massage treatment. Because massage helps clear metabolic wastes by increasing the circulation rate of blood and lymph, these chemicals require water, which needs to be replenished.

How often should I receive massage treatments? Is there a preferred frequency of treatment?

It depends on the individual, but we strongly recommend getting a massage treatment at least once a month. In fact, twice a month is highly recommended and would be very beneficial. During a difficult or stressful time in your life, a weekly massage can help immensely. Massage, like any other treatment, is not a one-time occurrence. In order to see consistent results, even if it is to decrease stress and relax, needs to be on a consistent basis. Massage therapy is an important part of your lifestyle and it should be considered just like sleep, diet and exercise, your body usually tells you how often…though at least once a month for maintenance.

It is highly recommended that you drink plenty of water before and after your massage treatment. Because massage helps clear metabolic wastes by increasing the circulation rate of blood and lymph, these chemicals require water, which needs to be replenished. Statistics have it that we should be drinking ½ our body weight in ounces per day. (Example if you weigh 150 lbs you should drink 75 ounces of water per day) Certain medical conditions will not allow for this so always consult with your Doctor.
